Receiving your Sticky Stuff products quickly, is as important to us, as it is to you. Rest assured before you "check out" we have made the shipping and returns policies as transparent and efficient as possible. We are a small self-run business, and we care.
Delivery Policy
Shipping Rates
We ship throughout South Africa using verified and reputable carriers. No international shipping is currently being offered. Standard/Economy shipping is by default. Please contact us directly if you wish to review the shipping service e.g. overnight shipping.
We are pleased to announce that online orders of R950-00 and above are free of charge, and no fee is added at check out.
For orders R949-99 and below, there will be a flat Rate of R150-00 for shipping throughout South Africa.
Unfortunately, we do not ship small orders below R250.
Shipping Timeframes
The handling and processing of orders is done as soon as possible. Within 1-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Handling is done at Sticky Stuff Beekeeping & Honey Johannesburg. Handling your purchase is only done after receiving your order confirmation email and cleared payment, through our channels. You will receive electronic notifications when your order has shipped, with appropriate tracking number and details.
Our estimated total delivery time is 3-11 working days.
Deliveries take place usually between 08h00 and 17h00 on weekdays (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays). Please see https://thecourierguy.co.za/national-courier-services/ for more information.
Handling on orders received after 11:00am will commence the next working day.
Our courier will provide an approximate delivery day, but unfortunately cannot provide the exact day and time. Please note couriers can be delayed during busy periods.
How We Ship?
We work with main South Africa based courier partners such as The Courier Guy. If for any reason we need to use an alternate method of shipping, we will contact you directly.
Where We Ship?
We deliver nationwide throughout South Africa, provided our courier is able to deliver to your address. Please note that our carriers can only deliver to a physical address. P.O. Boxes are specifically excluded here.
In infrequent cases, our courier may not be able to deliver as Standard shipping to certain locations. This includes but not limited to remote/outlying locations and areas deemed high risk. In these cases, we will contact you post, checkout to resolve the shipping issue. An additional delivery fee may need to be added.
Other possible resolutions can be, for example, delivery to a nearby courier depot, near you, where you can collect your package in person. These are all circumstance specific and will need to be discussed with you.
Please be explicitly accurate regarding delivery addresses, details and contact information. The limitations of our carrier/couriers are dependent on this. Delivery parcels returned to us, due to non-delivery for insufficient details, or you not being present for accepting delivery, may incur additional delivery fees.
Order Status and Tracking
Shortly after your online order is accepted by us, you will immediately receive an order confirmation email as well as a payment confirmation email directly from Yoco/Payfast.
After our handling time, usually between 1-5 days, you will receive a second email or notification regarding shipping. This will include waybill/tracking details, either directly from us or from our courier.
If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your notification regarding shipping confirmation, please contact us with your name and order number, and we will investigate it for you.
Refunds, Returns, and Exchanges
We accept refunds, for defective products only, and if in the rare case the wrong product is shipped. This may be returned for a refund, or for exchange, provided that the item is unused and in its original condition. Exhanges are only done under specific circumstances. Please refer to our full Refund, Returns and Exchange Policy for further information.

Refunds, Returns & Exchange Policy
We accept returns, for defective, and occasionally non-defective products. If for example, the rare case the wrong product is shipped to you. Products may be returned for a monetary refund, exchange for different product (store credit) depending on the circumstances. Provided that the item is unused and in its original condition. Full monetary refunds only qualify for defective products.
If you wish to return an item to us, for refund, return or exchange you are responsible to courier the item back to us.
We will send you a notification receipt of your returned item. Once we receive and inspect your return. You’ll be notified whether your refund has been approved or rejected. If approved, we’ll process your refund/exchange and discuss your preferred method. Please note that there may be a processing period before your refund appears.
Refund Policy
Based on our best discretion if a refund is approved, we will refund the full product amount, plus your delivery and shipping costs, for the return of the items which classify as defective.
Exchange Policy
In this case you are responsible to courier the product back to us, and all associated courier charges will be at your own cost. The new courier parcel, for your exchange, will incur our flat rate fee on our website.
Our Refund and Exchange Policy is valid for 10 days. If 10 days have passed since the delivery receipt of your items, we’re unable to provide refund and exchanges.
The provision of goods and services by Sticky Stuff Beekeeping & Honey is subject to availability thereof.
Unavailability
In cases of unavailability, Sticky Stuff Beekeeping & Honey will refund the client in full, within 30 days. Products advertised on the online store, and internet browsers are usually in physical stock, and can be locally dispatched to you delivery address.
Handling Time for Returns & Exchanges
There is an associated handling time, plus further delivery time, for returns and exchanges. This varies between 2 – 11 days depending on the courier.
Cancellation
Cancellation of orders by the customer will attract a 15 % handling fee, at the discretion of the Sticky Stuff Beekeeping team. Cancellation of orders can only be done during the handling time. Once the product has been logged-in via our courier service, it is no longer possible to cancel the order and you will have to initiate an exchange return. As per the Exchange policy above.
Order inspection
Please inspect your order upon reception, and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item.
When dispatching from our location, we carefully package and protect our products, in full condition, and cannot be held responsible for breakages that occur during transit from our courier service. Refunds are available for defective products only.
If a product is damaged, upon our carriers delivery, we will evaluate the issue with our courier and take corrective action. If no notification in writing, is sent to us within 12 hours of receiving the purchase, it is deemed to be in good order.
